Over the past several years there have been several jumps in technology that have significantly changed the way small to medium businesses (SMBs) operate. This has had an enormous impact on the relationship with our company and our customers. A1 BizCom is committed to giving our customers the highest possible customer service, advice, and solutions. We continually evolve as a company so that all our customers can move in today’s market in a way that is most advantageous for them.
In regards to A1 BizCom, we have spent the last year hiring additional staff for the field and a significant amount of resources in training them for today’s technology landscape. We are also adding back office staff, remote support capabilities, as well as engineering resources with our partner, Telarus.
To keep up with the customer service that all our customers deserve and need, we will be changing our hourly labor rate as well as our trip charge. It’s important to us to stay competitive with other businesses in the same space as us. It is also important that we keep a single hourly labor rate. Many companies in our industry charge one rate for telephony work and another rate for IT related work. We keep it simple—one charge no matter what work we are doing. Beginning on January 1, 2018, our hourly rate will increase to $105 an hour and our trip charge to $35—a price we feel is extremely competitive while maintaining value for our customers.
We are excited to enter the new year with newly trained staff and newly implemented procedures to ensure that all our customers receive the highest form of customer service in Texas.
